Wild cotton

Gomphocarpus cancellatus

Wild cotton is part of the milkweed family, it is an erect perennial with milky sap. It is best used in an indigenous garden, it makes an accent plant when in flower or in the sterile state. Combine it with other species of contrasting colour for the best effect.
