Annual spurflower (Eng.), Opslag spoorsalie (Afr.)

An annual herbaceous shrub that grows up to 600mm tall, with yellow flowers and has trailing stems. It has perennial tuberous roots. It grows naturally in a dry Savannah habitat in full sun or semi-shade. Usually found in sandy soils and with summer rainfall. Does not have much gardening potential, but may be useful for dry bushveld gardens.
