Oertendahl's spurflower, November lights ( Eng. )
Plectranthus oertendahlii has slightly succulent leaves and stems that root as they spread along the forest floor. It forms small, low clumps about 20 cm high. The upper surface of the round, broadly serrated leaves is marked with distinct silver veins, while the underside is a deep red. The color fades in lower light conditions and intensifies in more light areas. The leaves and stems have a slightly rough texture due to the short hairs that grow on them.
