Water white-alder, Water silver-oak(Eng.), Watervaalbos, Waterwitels (Afr.)

A neat bushy, much-branched shrub or small tree growing up to 5m. Used as a hedge or background shrub, windbreak and are drought resistant, it also attracts insects and birds. Naturally occurring along streams in fynbos and moist mountain kloof and forests.
