Plums are medium sized deciduous trees. For best results always ask a local nursery for advice on choosing the best variety, rootstock and cross pollinator. New Queen plums are purple and the fruit is large.

Harvesting

New Queen is a late flowering plum. Trees will be in full bloom towards the end of September. Plums will ripen during early February.

Seed will grow after cold stratification. The seed do not grow into the same cultivar- graft or bud the right variety on a rootstock or seedling.

Problems
