Mini ice plant, Red vygie, Oxenbould daisy, Rosy Dewplant (Eng.), Roosvygie (Afr.)

A short-lived perennial shrubby succulent with brightly coloured flowers. Makes wonderful cascading ground-coverings. Highly recommended for xeriscaping, climbing over rocks, cliffs, banks, slopes and garden walls. Lampranthus means 'bright flower' from the Greek lampros meaning 'bright' and anthos 'flower'. The species name roseus pertains to the rose-coloured flowers.
