Bulbine natalensis resembles an aloe in form but the leaves are more smooth. It thrives if top dressed occasionally with rich compost. Excellent water wise, accent plant. It prefers a slightly shady spot. Long stalks with yellow flowers emerge high above the rosettes of leaves giving a beautiful display.
