Growing to 2m+ this poisonous giant perennial has large divided leaves and thick, hairy, ribbed stems covered with reddish-purple markings. Massive green white flattened flowers appear in late summer. A stunning architectural plant once planted as an ornamental plant in the 19 Century, it is now an offence to plant or cause giant hogweed to grow in the wild in the UK.
