This spreading, deciduous shrub brings welcome colour to the garden in late summer/early autumn and has been awarded a RHS AGM. Masses of vivid cobalt-blue flowers appear from August to October and then in autumn, this shrub gives a second burst of colour when it's leaves turn a rich russet-red.
