The cat's claw creeper is an invasive evergreen climber, climbing high into trees or covering shrubs. This climber invades forest margins, woodlands, plantations, roadsides and urban open spaces, naturally found in tropical dry forest areas. It is invasive in many countries. It was introduced in many parts of the world as an ornamental creeper.
