Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea glabra

Paper flower, Lesser bougainvillea

Bougainvillea is one of the most spectacular and colourful groups of climbing plants. These thorny climbers, native to South America, vary in size and colour and can be grown in pots or in the garden. They need a trellis or pillar to climb on and they are more than content in dry, warm environments.
