Plectranthus elegantulus

Plectranthus elegantulus

P. elegantulus is a perennial herb in the same family as rosemary and mints, Lamiaceae. It grows up to 0,2 m tall, with trailing stems, that are sparingly branched, up to 0,3 m long. Plectranthus all have 'square' stems when cut through and the flowers resemble a spur. They are shade-loving plants that easily grow in hanging baskets or pots with the added bonus of pretty flowers in Autumn.
