Plectranthus is part of the Rosemary and Lavender family, Laminaceae, and are fragrant when crushed. The stems are significant square when cut through. Soft aromatic perennial herbs of 10–30.5 cm tall with a spread of about 60 cm.

Make 7-15cm cuttings, remove the leaves from the bottom half of the cutting and keep moist in good potting soil.
Divide the plants with roots attached and replant immediately.
The shoots make roots where it touches the soil - remove and replant in new location.
