Dune buchu

Achmadenia obtusata

A variable shrub that has bright white to pink flowers and aromatic leaves. Flowering from autumn to spring and attracts many insects including butterflies. Can be grown in acid or alkaline soils and is ideally suited for rock garden pockets and deep containers. Is palatable to cattle and other browsers. Needs good watering in winter, but can tolerate some drought conditions. It is an attractive garden plant and good for cut flower displays.
