This dwarf shrub has leaves with a distinct nutmeg or spicy nutmeg smell. Very easy to grow and a low maintenance plant. Plant near a path to truly experience the wonderful smell. Uses: Ornamental and edible.
Harvest when needed.
Plant cuttings with 2-3 nodes under the soil surface. Dip in rooting hormone powder and keep moist to promote root formation.

The crushed leaves are used to flavour jellies, cakes, fruit dishes, vinegars or tea.
Leaves can be used as potpourrii and an attractive garden plant or pot plant.
