Up-to-Date is an easy to grow, high yield variety of potato that produces floury tubers with a low moisture content, a high starch content and is suitable for cooking. They make great mash, chips and roast potatoes.

Propagation

Tubers
Plant tubers in early spring or autumn, 7-10 cm deep and 15-20 cm apart. Add soil to form ridges as the plant grows.

Crop rotation
Up-to-date potatoes are heavy feeders and require a lot of nutrients. Do not replant in the same area, unless other crops has grown for 4 years or the soil is fumigated.
