Its a herbaceous perennial plant. Makes a great use for ground cover for pond/water garden margins, bog gardens and moist borders. ‘Chameleon’ synonymous with ‘Variegata’ and ‘Tricolor’ which features green leaves variegated with shades of red, pink, yellow and/or cream on bright red stems. Used in traditional medicinal purposes and also used in culinary.
